Is the editor really free?

Yes. The browser SQL editor is open to anyone with the URL — no signup, no card, no catch. It runs read-only queries against a practice database.

Can I break anything?

No. The editor allows SELECT only — no INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, CREATE. Multiple safety layers at both the database and server level. Experiment freely.

Is the course right for beginners?

Yes — it starts from the first SELECT and goes all the way through window functions, CTEs and performance tuning. If you’ve written SQL before, you can skip ahead.
